"Oh man oh man... I havent had this good of shawarma in a long long time. Both the lamb and chicken were superb. Fallafal was fantastic, plenty of sauce to go around if you needed. The proprietor was super nice and made sure I was satisfied. Looks like I'm coming to Hutto from now on from Bastrop for more."

"Absolutely delicious. This is the best chicken shawarma I’ve had in the area. I got the chicken shawarma wrap and a mango dessert (on the menu it’s called “special fruit custard”) it was delicious! The sauce on the wrap was amazing, the pita was so soft and chicken was great. Fresh ingredients! The dessert had fresh mango pieces in it, it was so delicious and refreshing even though it was creamy. Please go here!"

"I was working at a wedding right behind Hutto Spice Route food truck and had to keep walking to my truck and kept smelling how delicious everything was. I hadn't eaten lunch and it was the only food truck open (thank goodness!!!). I'm so grateful that they were open. They were really friendly and made my food fresh! & let me tell you!!!! The flavors were immaculate!!! Chefs kiss! It's all in the name honestly. Every bite was amazing! I had the Chicken Tikka over rice and myyy goodness!! I will be back! 10/10"

"Hutto Spice Route is honestly my go-to whenever I don’t feel like cooking. It’s such a gem here in Hutto! Every time I go, the food is so good — super flavorful, perfectly seasoned, and always fresh. The portions are generous too, so I always leave stuffed and happy. The generous man who helps out there really stands out — you can see how much pride he takes in what he does. He’s always so polite and kind to talk to, and that just makes the whole experience feel even more welcoming. If you go, you have to try the Chicken Shawarma Over Rice — it’s my favorite! So flavorful and so filling. The lamb option is really good too if you want to switch it up. Honestly, you can’t go wrong."
